Reddit Growth Manager

Job Summary
Reddit is the hardest social platform to grow on and the most valuable when you do it right. One wrong move and a community turns on you; done well, it drives traffic nothing else can match. We are hiring someone who genuinely understands Reddit: the culture, the moderation, the unwritten rules, and how to operate there at scale with modern automation. If you know exactly why most brands fail on Reddit, keep reading.
Your Role
The Reddit Operator
You own our Reddit presence end to end: which communities we operate in, what gets posted where, which accounts do it, and how the whole operation stays healthy and under the radar. You know how karma, account age, and community trust actually work, and you plan around them instead of fighting them.
The second half of the job is leverage. We build automation around everything we do, and we expect you to work the same way: AI coding tools like Claude Code, scripts, schedulers, and monitoring instead of manual grinding. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you need to be the person who automates the boring half of their own job without being asked.
Ideal Candidate
- You have grown real Reddit accounts and communities, with karma and traffic numbers to show for it.
- You read a subreddit's rules and its mood before you ever post in it.
- You know what gets accounts shadowbanned and how to operate so it never happens.
- You have used Claude Code or similar AI tools to automate real work, not just to chat.
- You track what works with data, not gut feeling.
- You write posts and comments that read like a person, because you are one.
- You stay calm when a thread turns hostile and know when to engage and when to walk away.
Requirements
Reddit fluency
You speak the platform natively.
Karma mechanics, account aging, subreddit politics, moderator relations, cross-posting etiquette, shadowban detection. You have lived on Reddit long enough that none of this needs explaining, and you have grown accounts and communities to prove it.
Automation and AI tooling
You multiply yourself with software.
You have hands-on experience with Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools, and you have built automations that saved real hours: posting pipelines, monitoring, scraping, reporting. When a task repeats, your instinct is to script it.
Growth judgment
Reach without wreckage.
You know how to drive attention and traffic from Reddit without burning accounts or communities. You balance volume against risk, you test before you scale, and you keep records of what worked so the next month beats this one.
Remote discipline
Nobody watches you. Nothing slips.
You have a quiet workspace, a fast and stable connection, and the self-management to run an operation without supervision. Remote work is how you do your best work, not a fallback.
What You'll Do
You Shouldn't Apply If
- You want a job that ends when the clock says so. This team runs on an all-in mentality.
- You are looking for part-time hours or a side project. We hire full-time only.
- You take direct feedback personally. We correct fast and expect you to do the same.
- Your Reddit experience is lurking. This role needs someone who has operated there, not observed.
